Εικόνες χάους στην Ισπανία από χθες με το νησί Λανθαρότε να βυθίζεται στα λασπόνερα και να πλημμυρίζει, μετά από σύντομη αλλά σφοδρή καταιγίδα που έπληξε την περιοχή το απόγευμα του Σαββάτου.
Οι δρόμοι -στο τέταρτο σε μέγεθος από τα Κανάρια Νησιά- μετατράπηκαν σε ορμητικά ποτάμια, που παρέσυραν τα πάντα στο πέρασμά τους, από αυτοκίνητα και κάδους, μέχρι πινακίδες και τραπεζοκαθίσματα.
Αρκετές περιοχές του νησιού καλύφθηκαν από λάσπη, με τους κατοίκους να προσπαθούν με δυσκολία να διασχίσουν τα πλημμυρισμένα σημεία για να φτάσουν σε ασφαλές μέρος.
Στα βίντεο που αναρτήθηκαν στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης αποτυπώνεται το μέγεθος της καταστροφής.
